I definitely have some wiring parts so you can add a 4-Way/7-Way connector to your 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. There aren't any with that direct plug though so we'll have to piece together a few things to get to that point.
To add a 4-Way to your vehicle you need the Curt T-Connector # C55260 which plugs into the factory tow package wiring. If you don't have the factory tow package you'll use the Tekonsha T-One # 118349 instead.
Now that we have the 4-Way you can use the Hopkins # 37185 or the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. The Hopkins wiring gives you the desired connections but only has the basic trailer lighting active. If you're wanting to get all of the wiring functions active on the 7-Way (12V power, reverse lights, and brake controller) that's when you'll need the ETBC7 wiring kit. You'll want to pick up the No-Drill Mount Bracket # C57202 as well if your trailer hitch doesn't already have a place to secure the connector to.
It sounds like you're planning on doing some towing so if this is the case and you don't already have a ball mount I recommend checking out the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount # BWTS10048B because of how versatile it is with the adjustable height and the triple hitch ball setup - this will be the last ball mount you need to purchase!
I've attached some videos for you to check out.
