My valet tips everytime we lower the trailer. The ball on the valet is 2 inches and the trailers 2 5/16. Would that be an issue

Yes, you want the ball size to match the coupler on your trailer. We do have the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball w/ Base # TVBB25 that you can use with your Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL2 with the 2" ball. This would help you to reduce the valet from tipping as the ball will fit snuggly in the coupler.
