Question:
I purchased a EcoHitch #306-X7601 hitch for my 2019 Outback Limited. I am getting ready to tow 5x8 UHaul Trailer and need to get a hitch ball mount that is compatible. I think I did the math correctly but wanted to verify I did it correctly. From the top of the hitch receiver is 15inch to the ground. UHaul says their trailers are at 18inch from the ground. Does that mean I need a hitch ball mount with 3inch of rise?

You're correct on the measuring of which ball mount you would need. With the top of the hitch to the ground being 15 inches and the coupler height of the trailer being 18 you would need a ball mount with a 3 inch rise.
The Curt Solid Ball Mount for 2 inch Hitches # C45313 has a 3 inch rise and has a gross towing weight up to 12,000 pounds. The 2 inch hitch ball # A-90 and Pin and Clip # C21500 are needed as well.
