I found a great used 8550035 but I need 8550037. I dont have puck system. Can 8550035 be converted to use under bed rails in a 2020 2500 silverado

Yes! To convert the 21K Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550035 to the Hijacker # DM8550037 you just need the Side Plate Kit # DM6004. This is for the Demco UMS underbed system so in order to install this on your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 you need the Underbed Rail and Installation Kit # DR37FR.
This kit is similar to an OEM puck system for any truck but Demco has their own spacing for the mounting holes so you can only use Demco 5th wheel hitches that have the UMS side plat kites for this application.
