Options to Replace a Genesis 2.0 RV Stereo

Question:

I have a genesis 2.0 now and I crossed the polarity and won’t seem to work. I know it’s discontinued. Is there a replacement for it which will connect to existing wire harnesses?

We do not have a stereo that would be a direct replacement for your Genesis 2.0. We have an option that can use your current wiring harness, but it is smaller than your Genesis 2.0. Then we also have an option that would be closer to the size of your Genesis 2.0.

size: 6-11/16" wide x 3-15/16" tall x 6-11/16" deep

Closer to Size:
- Jensen RV Stereo # JWM60A

Genesis 2.0: 7-5/8" W x 7-9/16" H x 5" D
Jensen RV Stereo: 9" wide x 6" tall x 5-1/2" deep

There is not a perfect "direct" replacement option available. You just have to decide if you'd rather rewire or fabricate the cutout.
