The Thule Aero roof rack system you referenced, consisting of parts # TH711400, # TH710501 and # TH145190, will fit the 4-door version of the 2009 Honda Civic. When this rack is installed on this particular vehicle the crossbar spread will be 27-1/2 inches between crossbar centers. I have linked a video showing installation of this rack on your same year/make/model vehicle.
If you happen to have the 2-door Civic the link provided will show you two compatible Thule Aero rack systems for that version.
I have also included a link to our page for all Thule kayak carriers that are compatible with the Aero crossbars. These include several varieties and capacities. I have also provided a link to all brands of kayak carriers that will work with the AeroBlade crossbars.
