Question:
Does it then work with my existing fob, so lock and unlock with the doors? Question 2: Does it have any kind of sensor so itll unlock like the doors as I approach? Thanks!

The Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600 is confirmed to fit your 2018 Honda Ridgeline.
The tailgate lock will lock and unlock when using your factory power lock system, so you can use your existing fob. There is no sensors that will unlock the doors as your approach you can only unlock with your key fob.
