Question:

is this ford puck system centered directly over the rear axle, or is it offset alittle bit towards the cab. was looking at getting the companion 3300 hitch also, but want to make sure i will have enough clerance to let the tailgate down when hooked up. would be putting on a 2017 f250 sb.

The Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP87FR installs on your 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty so that the center gooseneck receiver is in the middle dimple in your truck bed and then the 4 corresponding puck holes are located 3" back from the raised ridges as you can see in the attached photo. I'm not 100% where these are located in relation to the front or back of your truck bed but you should be able to visually make these markings on your end.
