Recommended Replacement Bunk Board Brackets For a J14 Carolina Skiff Boat Trailer

I’ve been looking at to the bunk board brackets and haven’t seen any that match the old ones that have rusted out and I’m looking to replace on the trailer for my j14 Carolina skiff. My old brackets were simply the channel attachments and then a 90degree bend at the top and then I have a through-bolt to attach to some pt decking. What bunk board brackets would be appropriate replacements? I’ve looked at the swivel top ones, but I don’t need them to swivel. Once the bolts are tightened on the swivel do they stay in place? Thank you.

I recommend the CE Smith Double U-Bolt Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies. These are available in different heights depending on your trailer setup.
9-1/4" Bracket Assemblies # CE10190GA-4
10-1/4" Bracket Assemblies # CE10191GA-4
12-1/4" Bracket Assemblies # CE10192GA-4
16-1/4" Bracket Assemblies # CE10196G-4
These brackets use the U-Bolt Kit # CE15283GA-8 giving you 2 U-Bolts to secure the brackets to the frame. Once you have the brackets mounted to your Bunk Boards # CE27845 and they are matched to the boat they will stay in place. Since your Skiff has the flat bottom the boards are not going to be rotating.
