Hello, were getting an aftermarket class III hitch for our Mazda CX9 and want to add a 7 pin socket so we can use trailer brakes on travel traikers. Any suggestions?

In order to install a 7-way trailer connector on a 2022 Mazda CX-9 you'll need to start with a 4-way, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package part # 118278 which is plug-in-play. Then you can adapt this into a 7-way using the 4 to 7-Way with 4-Way Adapter part # ETBC7L. This is then designed to be used with the Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller part # C51180 which is wireless so you don't have to do any splicing into the vehicle like you would for any other traditional trailer brake controller.
