Question:

Hi…We have a 2017 Kia Sedona minivan with factory crossbars. Can you please recommend a product that will allow us to transport 2 kayaks? We have found that due to the van height, j hooks don’t seem to work for short people. Also not looking to spend a fortune on a transport mechanism. Thanks

A potential carrier option for your 2017 Kia Sedona factory roof rack is the Malone SeaWing # MPG107MD. This is a saddle-style carrier that you'll load from the rear of your van as opposed to the side. This can be adjusted side to side so you should be able to get both kayaks on top of your vehicle but I do recommend laying the boats side by side behind your vehicle to see if the middle of each will be above your crossbars.

To help make loading your boats easier you can use the Malone Channel Loader Kayak Load Assist # MAL48FR which uses suction cups to mount to your rear window and gives you a roller for your kayaks.
