Question:

On my new truck I have an above bed cover Adarac bars. My Rhino kayak J racks dont attach, any ideas of replacement mounts, I see they have a number that attach cargo baskets but I dont see ones specifically for the kayak rack square bar kayak mounts

Rhino-Rack used to carry the Square Crossbar Adapters for Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carriers # KC-FK10 and was designed to allow you to mount your # S512-S512X kayak carrier to your square cross bars, however it has since been discontinued.

Instead, your only option as I see it is to replace either your crossbars with compatible bars, or replace your kayak carrier with something like the:

-Malone FoldAway-5 Kayak, SUP, and Canoe Carrier with Tie Downs # MAL38FR, which will fit your square crossbars.

This carrier has a similar capacity as your current Rhino-Rack kayak carrier at 75-lbs per kayak, for a maximum capacity of 150-lbs, and will also include the mounting hardware.
