Is there a way to convert a 18v battery operated awning to a 12v? Can I hardwire a switch to my house battery?

Expert Reply:
I spoke with Lippert, and they informed me that yes you can convert your 18V awning to 12V buy using a 2-way power feed wiring harness (found in # LCV000334969-362243) to go from the awning arm to your coach, and then from here you will need to hard wire to your power source.
Also, since you mentioned that you wanted to use a switch, you can use either:
-Solera Power Awning Switch Kit # LC285500 for black,
Or,
-Solera Power Awning Switch Kit # LC285499 for white.
