Trailer Hitch Receiver Confirmed To Fit 2022 Volkswagen ID.4

I’m interested in the Curt hitch for the 2022 due to the low profile as compared to the Dra-Tite. The website is saying Curt will not fit 2022 models, did the id4 chassis change that much between the two years?

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT84GR is currently the only receiver confirmed to fit on your 2022 Volkswagen ID.4.
As of today 7/18/2022 the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C47JR has not been confirmed by Curt to fit or not fit your ID.4. I do not see that there were any major changes to the chassis. The receiver simply hasn't been test fit for your vehicle, but once we or Curt is able to confirm it will fit we will update our information.
