Question:
Does the 2 inch trailer hitch for 2008 Land Rover LR2 just bolt on or is it a big job for an Experienced mechanic? Thanks for your help

The trailer hitch options for a 2008 Land Rover LR2 such as the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75688 which is what I recommend, are rated as a 3/10 on the difficulty scale so they can easily be installed at home in your driveway without much mechanical knowledge as they are designed. It looks like we have an install video you can follow along with as well for even more confidence which I have attached below.
Please note, you will need a torque wrench for the install which you can rent locally for free at most local auto parts stores.
