I was recently at a rally at a campground where a “generator exhaust system” was required for running our generator. What exactly is a generator exhaust system and what does it do? Is it something yall offer?

What you are referring to is something like the Camco Gen-Turi RV Generator Exhaust System # CAM44461 which directs exhaust up above the roof line of the RV so that it doesn't affect you or any neighbors near you. It also makes the generator a little bit quieter as well.
