How to Determine the Correct Replacement Awning Arms for a Dometic Sunchaser 8300 Awning

Question:

I have a dometic sunchaser 8300? awning on my RV. The roller tube and fabric are fine but the rest of the hardware is damaged. You seem to have 2 solera products that might work for me. How do I know which item works with my existing roller tube?

The correct replacement option depends on the length of the arms that you are replacing. The arm length of 68 inches to 81 inches is the range that the Solera Classic Universal Awning Support Arms will replace. So if you have a spring-loaded manual awning with arms that are between 68 inches and 81 inches long, you can use the Solera Classic Universal Awning Support Arms # LC434718.

If you have a spring-loaded manual awning with arms that are between 81" to 96" then you would want to use the Solera Classic Universal Awning Support Arms # LC434720.

Both of these options are designed to replace the existing support arms on your Dometic spring-loaded manual awning, the correct one for you depends on the length of the arms you are replacing.
