Expert Reply:
The capacities we have listed for the Gladiator Utility Cargo Net - Cam Buckle Tie-Downs - Roof Rack/SUV - 4' 9" x 5' 3", part # GC77FR, correspond to the maximum load (break strength) when using this cargo net without the cam buckle straps, 4,500 lbs, or with the straps, 3,969 lbs. You should adhere to the safe working load limit of 1,500 lbs, without the cam buckle straps, or 1,323 lbs, with the cam buckle straps.
