Does Rear Section of Leer Hard Trifold Tonneau Have to be Open to Close Tailgate

Question:
What I need to know is if the the tailgate of the truck can be closed when the cover is down or do you need to have to have the last section of the cover up to close the tailgate. On my previous cover I couldnt close the tailgate if the cover was down, it messed up the rubber seal if you tried.

Yes, if you have the Leer Hard Tonneau Cover - Tri Fold # LE32FR all the way closed/down you can open and close the tailgate. The last section of the cover does not have to be folded up for the tailgate to open or close.
