Thule evo cross bar and fit kit for 2022 Tahoe. The description shows the fit kit included as 186117, but according to thule I need 1861187. Can you clarify?

I checked with directly with Thule and can verify the correct fit kit for your 2022 Chevy Tahoe with flush-mounted rails is indeed the 186117. So for the complete Thule roof rack set up on your '22 Tahoe, you need the following:

- Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Silver # TH711500 or Black # TH711520

- Evo Flush Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710601

- Fit Kit for Thule Evo Flush Roof Rack Feet # TH95JW

Please note the TH95JW is simply our part number for the 186117, so they are the same thing, and this will indeed fit your '22 Tahoe.

This Thule rack is a very good choice to add to your Tahoe, as it is quiet, easy to use, and highly durable. They minimize noise for a couple reasons, starting with their aerodynamic shape, and also because they have what are called WindDiffusers on top, which are rubber strips with small ridges that help direct air flow over the crossbars.

The rack is easy to use due to the bars' 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall shape, allowing any accessory to clamp around them, as well as the T-slots on the top of the bars. Those are channels covered by rubber strips that you just need to push in to mount an accessory in them; this is different than other crossbars where you have to cut off the top rubber strip at the exact spot you want mount an accessory.

The only other thing I recommend is adding locks to the feet to secure the rack to your Sorento, which you can do with the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450400.
