I have a 2019 Subaru Forrester without raised rails. I want to add a roof rack system so I can add a luggage carrier on top. What do you recommend?

I really like the Yakima JetStream roof rack systems because they are high quality, look great, and they have adjustments in the legs to make the crossbars level with each other. Here are the parts you'll need for your 2019 Subaru Forester:

The black strips on your roof have little cutouts you'll either flip open or remove altogether and that's where the Landing Pad 22 will anchor to your vehicle. If you even need to remove the crossbars there are covers that fit over the bases on the Landing Pads so you don't have to remove everything entirely.

If you don't already have a cargo carrier I recommend checking out the Yakima GrandTour # YA84FR. This has a newer body style to accent newer vehicles and it features some premium options from Yakima like the removeable knob you use to adjust the mounting hardware.
