How is Remote of Fan-Tastic Roof Vent Paired to Fan Assembly

I cant get the new controller to sync with my fantastic fan. My square controller stopped working. Truef all the buttons. Nothinh

Did you try pairing the remote to the fan already? You will need to have the the remote within 12" of the fan and press the two arrows, once you do that the manual and auto should flash. Keep holding down the arrows until all 7 LEDs flash. This can take around 45 seconds. Once all the LEDs have flashed the remote is paired.
