Question:

question about Thule roof rack options on 2019 Kia Sorento. It refers to flush rails. My rails are not flush. They are raised rails on top of the roof. I dont have a glass window in the roof. I think I need Kit #186033 but not sure. Depends on the definition of flush.

Flush rails, as it pertains to the roof of a vehicle, are kind of a misnomer. Flush rails are rails on the roof of your vehicle that are always in contact with the vehicle for the entire length of the rail. If you cannot put anything between the rails and the roof of your vehicle, you have flush rails. Your 2019 Kia Sorento has flush rails. Your roof rack will include Thule fit kit 186033 and the following items:

This roof rack has a maximum weight limit of 165 lb. It comes with elliptical shaped crossbars to aid in fuel economy and reduce wind noise. The crossbars t-channel makes it compatible with channel mounted accessories and traditional roof rack accessories that clamp the crossbars.
