Is Drilling Required For A Rear Anti-Sway Bar Installation On A 2000 Dodge Van 3500 Roadtrek

Question:
It appears Roadmaster sway bar kit 1129-111 is the right model for my vehicle. The instructions call for drilling a 7/16” hold through both sides of frame rail. Yet in the QandA section, on a Pleasure Way RV on 2001 Dodge Van Chassis, the expert reply said, The Roadmaster kit # RM-1129-111 fits your 3500 RV cutaway and installs without any drilling between your axle and frame to reduce body roll. Critical question: drilling or no drilling on the 2000 Dodge Van 3500 Roadtrek?

For your 2000 Dodge Van 3500 Roadtrek you will have to do some drilling to install the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1129-111. There is also a tech tip listed stating that the water tanks may need to be temporarily lowered/removed to allow for enough room to get the sway bar in place.
