Question:
Do you HAVE to use lithium batteries or can you use truck or deep cycle AGM? Sorry, but I have had a LOT of BAD experiences with lithium batteries. Had one actually explode in the air in one of my R/C airplanes, and that was a SMALL pack. Or is there another solar option that will use regular lead acid or AGM batteries?

You definitely do not have to use lithium batteries and instead you can use sealed, vented, AGM, or lead acid with the AE-4 system you asked about, which is the following part number:
- Go Power Solar AE-4 All Electric System with MPPT Solar Controller - 760 Watt Solar Panels # 342-75010
So you can use whatever battery type you are most comfortable with if you're not a fan of lithium batteries. If you don't have an inverter, you'll also want one to change your battery power from DC to AC to power your appliances, the Go Power Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter # 34280176.
