Can the Taylor Made Dock Wheel Bumper Be Mounted On Bottom of Dock

The water level at our lake is low right now and the hull of my boat is below the dock. Would it work if I installed a dock wheel on top and one on the bottom?

I reached out to Taylor made and although you can mount the Taylor Made Dock Wheel Bumper # 3691072 on the top of your dock, you cannot mount it upside down on the bottom. Instead, I recommend using the Taylor Made Low-Profile Boat Guide Wheel for 1-1/2" Diameter Dock Pipes - PVC # 3691214. This guide wheel installs on 1-1/2" dock pipes and can be stacked to accommodate larger boats if need be.
