In order to use the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # TH43002XT-781 from an old 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 on a 2022 GMC Sierra (Short Bed) you'll need new base rails, the Base Rails for Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Racks part # TH33JV.
