I am 80 years old and restoring my dads tow dolly for the fun of it. Needing help please to be sure I am ordering the right Steering Stabilizer Shock. x 1. size of bolt hole on each end x 2. collapsed length of shock between center of bolt holes x 3. expanded length of shock between center of bolt holes x I have a real early model with out a mfg. plate and would like to make sure it fits so to save the time of returning it, if the part has changed during the years of mfg.

What tow dolly do you have? The one shock we have is the part # DM01729-30 for the Demco Kar Kaddy which is 24 inches when fully extended and 14 inches when retracted. The eyelets on either end are 9/16 inch. Hopefully what you have matches that.
