How to change the bulb? Im afraid to break it. How does it open?

The Trailer License Plate Light - Submersible - Gray Housing item # LP97CB is sealed which makes it waterproof and submersible. You wouldn't be able to replace just the bulb you would need to replace the entire fixture.
