It sounds like you need the Solera Awning Plain Drive Head Front Cover # LC289557 instead of the Replacement Lippert Edge Awning Drive Head Front Cover # LC32NJ you have currently.
This cover is wider than # LC32NJ, and is white in color like you mentioned you need.
