Correct Replacement Shroud And Installation Instructions For A Coleman-Mach 8333-8715

Question:

Hi there i have a colman mach ac unit with model number 8333-8715 and needed a shroud for it. I ordered the maxxair MA00-325001 shroud and it seems to fit okay exept the bottom edges dont quite get underneath of the metal lip on the ac unit i was just wondering if this is normal or if the shroud isnt quite tall enough?

It sounds like something might've gone wrong during the installation of the MaxxAir TuffMaxx Replacement RV Air Conditioner Cover for Coleman-Mach RV Air Conditioners # MA00-325001.

You'll want to go through these steps again to ensure that the shroud was properly installed:

1. Start by removing old A/C Cover and old foam at rear of unit.

2. Then, you'll clean the old foam tape off A/C unit and replace with furnished double sided foam tape.

3. Apply the new FOAM pieces furnished in this kit. See D in Figure 1. Press them firmly
to achieve proper adhesion.

4. Install TUFFMAXX cover by sliding the TUFFMAXX cover down and gently over the
foam pieces.

5. Next, align the cover by pressing it forward to compress the foam.

6. Then, align the cover with existing mounting holes or studs.

7. Continue by installing Stainless Steel Fender Washers and nuts or existing bolts.

8. Finish by tightening the hardware to secure TUFFMAXX in place.
