What wires would I connect it to on a 2007 ford ranger fx4 ?does it come with directions for my make and model?

The harness that you will need to access to install the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8200 on your 2007 Ford Ranger will be under the passenger's side kick panel. Underneath the kick panel you would need to test every wire with a hook probe circuit tester like # PTW2993. Using this will help you determine the correct functions of each wire.
Per Pop & Lock they let me know that the green wire on the # PAL8200 is for the lock function on your 2007 Ford Ranger. The color combo for your Ranger will either be gray/brown or a pink/orange and that will attach to the green wire of the tail gate lock.
The blue wire on the tailgate lock will be for the unlock feature. The ranger wiring that will attach to the blue wire will either be a gray/violet or a pink/black. The instructions will be included in the package.
