I went ahead and reached out to my tech at Flex-a-lite, and he said that while they cannot confirm the use of the plastic push nuts from the # FLX236 on your condenser, you should be fine as long as you have enough room between the fins of the condenser. You may have to bend/adjust the fins to fit the nuts. You also need to make sure the fan is blowing inward toward the components and not blowing air out of the hood.
As far as making sure you have enough room to mount the fan between the radiator and your condenser on your 1957 Chevy, I recommend measuring that space to make sure it is not less than 16" wide x 16-1/2" tall x 3-3/4" deep.
