Question:

I have a 2018 Tacoma with 5foot bed that presently has a Peragon tonneau cover on it see attached photo of cover/bed rail transition. My intention is to install either a Thule or Adarac ladder rack to the truck without having to remove my tonneau cover. Peragon recommends either of these brands for this purpose. It appears that most racks mount to the truck bed with a clamp system that looks like it would intefere with the tonneau cover. Can you possibly point me in a direction here? Thanks

When fitting a ladder rack to a truck that has a tonneau cover you need to go with one that install through the top of the bed rails and not wrapping around them like you noted. So for your 2018 Toyota Tacoma 5 foot bed you'd want the Adarac Pro Series part # A76ZR which installs like that and has vertical uprights which allows folding and rolling tonneau covers to open without interference.
