Question:
Im looking into this kit, but your website and firestones website says it does not work with the fx2 submodel. What is the reason? Other reputable sites do not state that this item wont work on the fx2. What is different on the fx2 compared to other f-150s? What is required to make it work?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The reason the # F2350 won't fit your 2007 Ford F-150 FX2 is because of a difference in the suspension that impacts the installation when compared to other models. I would follow what the manufacturer states and not what you find on another website, regardless of how reputable it is.
While Firestone does not have a fit for the FX2, or a workaround, Air Lift has confirmed that the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57228 does fit your FX2 F-150 as long as it's stock ride height.
