Without knowing which exact model of Lomax tri-fold tonneau cover you have installed on your 2021 Ram 1500, the main determining factor that allows for you to install a ladder rack is if the tonneau cover leaves the stake pockets completely open on your rail caps. As long as your tonneau leaves the stake pockets open like the model # LOM28QR, you can accommodate a stake-pocket mounted ladder rack.

For the stake-pocket mounted rack, I recommend the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum - 500 lbs # A4000965 (5-1/2 foot bed without RamBox) or # A49FR (6-1/2 foot bed without RamBox). The advantage of the Pro Series over virtually all other ladder racks is that the uprights of the rack stand straight up without any inward taper. This ensures that there will be no rubbing of the Lomax cover against the sides of the uprights when opening/closing the cover. You also receive the benefit of being able to adjust the uprights anywhere along the bed. As far as the crossbar height of the Pro Series, the bottom of the crossbar stands 22-1/2 inches above the box rails. In order to know for sure you if you have enough height with your tonneau, I recommend measuring the height of a single panel to make sure it falls under 22-1/2 inches.

Another great thing about the Pro Series is the add-on options. You have the ability to add tie-down bolts # A4000882 and adjustable load stops # A4000880. Also, for straps to secure your cargo, I recommend the Erickson Cam Buckle Straps # EM34409.

To verify whether your roof top tent can fit onto the crossbars of the Adarac, I recommend making sure that your tent's clamps can secure around square crossbars that measure 1-1/2" wide x 1-1/2" tall.
