Question:
Hi, me again. So I purchased a 2014 Honda crv that has the base plate and wiring set up already. I have a blue ox tow kit from my 2012 Ford focus. What items are compatible from my Ford to my Honda and what else do I need to buy? Thanks!

If your 2014 Honda CR-V has a Blue Ox baseplate already installed, part # BX2258, you will be able to use it with your Blue Ox towbar. If not, you will need an adapter. The etrailer baseplate that will need the Adapter for Blue Ox Tow Bar to etrailer Tabless Base Plates, part # e98986. If you have the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms, part # DM9519328, you will need the Adapter for Blue Ox Tow Bars to Demco Tabless Base Plates or etrailer Invisible Base Plates, part # DM9523127.
If you have the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms, part # RM-521567-5, you will need a Roadmaster tow bar. My recommendation is the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs, part # RM-522. These tow bar arms have a wide tow radius and you do not have to be on level ground to hook up your tow vehicle to the tow bar.
You have the tow bar wiring, safety chains, and a supplemental brake system from your Ford Focus. They can be transferred to your Honda CR-V.
I have included product description links, video installation links, and video demo links below.
