Question:
Hi, I am interested in purchasing the #34279458 1500 watt inverter, and I was wondering if it is possible to tie it into the pre-existing A/C junction box on my 2022 Thor Coleman 26CM. Are there any specific safety devices that are recommended besides a 200A fuse on the D/C input side? For example, any Diode or back feed safety on the A/C side so the shore power could be used without damaging the inverter or vice versa? Any information would be much appreciated! Thanks,

The Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter with Transfer Switch - 1,500 Watt - 12V # 34279458 you were looking at has an integrated switch which will swap back and forth between shore power and inverter power depending on you hooking into the shore power. You won't be able to run both at the same time if that's what you were intending.
As for tying into your junction box, the AC output is going to take a maximum of up to 1 gauge wire so you can tie into the junction box using the appropriate connectors and wire gauge needed to maintain the voltage for whatever length you need to run it.
The Go Power Inverter Fuse with Block - Class T - 200 Amp # 34244226REVA is going to go between the battery and the inverter to protect your equipment from power surges. This inverter also has protections from over/under voltage, overloading, and overcurrent. This inverter also uses a heat sink process to protect from extreme temperatures, and an internal cooling fan removes excess heat from the unit so you won't have to install any other diodes/safety devices.
