What Rear Air Bags and Front Anti-Sway Bar do You Recommend for My 2012 Ford E-250 Van?

Question:

I have a 2012 Ford F-250 Econoline extended transport van and need air bags in the rear and stabilizers for front. This modified bubble top we have built a stall in the back for our miniature horses and the front is set up with camper features. Too much roll and need more rear support for horses. Product suggestions that would work with our model van would be appreciated.

I believe you meant that your have a 2012 Ford E-250 Ecoline van. For this vehicle, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88138. Along with the 5,000 pound of load-leveling capacity for your van, the LoadLifter 5000 reduces the strain on your rear suspension, increases safety, and compensates for uneven loads. In addition, the air bags help to improve ride comfort, reduce sway, and help with cornering.

For greater customization of the air bags, I recommend a compressor like the Air Lift Load Controller Compressor # AL25856 or the wireless Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Bluetooth - EZ Mount # AL58WQ. Since both of these compressors are dual-path, you will be able to independently inflate the air bags to match your desired firmness. Also, in addition to the Bluetooth ability of the WirelessAIR, it comes with constant diagnostic tests to make sure that the air bags are running safely and efficiently.

As far as front stabilizers, I think you are referring to anti-sway bars. For that route, I recommend the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-189. This anti-sway bar adds from support that provides a level ride (even when on uneven surfaces). It also diminishes the effects of crosswinds, passing motorists, and shifting cargo.
