Can I leave appliances open to eliminate smells in them also?

As long as it is not plugged in or connected to power and on you can leave the doors on your appliances open.
I would obviously remove any food and things from them before you leave them sitting though!
Leaving them cracked to let air flow get in will not hurt your appliances.
