could i get the dimensions esp. top width of this part? Need to be 1.25inch or less to fit in the channel on the bottom of the bottom step - thx much.

The overall dimensions of the Lippert Solid Stance Step Kit # LC96BJ that you referenced are 22-3/4" wide x 2-5/8" tall x 4-1/2" deep and the thickness is exactly 1-1/4 inches like you said you need.
