Looking for a rack for the bed of my 2020 F-150 supercrew- 5 foot 7 bed. Can I put roof rails along the top of my bedsides? Then put mounts and rails along the rails?

There is a rack system that will fit the 5'7" bed of your 2020 Ford F-150 which essentially gives you a roof rack in your truck bed. But instead of the rail system you described (which is not something you can do with this type of rack system), you'll simply get crossbars that mount to towers. There are two options:

The OutPost is the premium option that is more of a combination of ladder rack and roof rack. It has a 500 lb capacity and sits about 13 inches above your bed rails. The BedRock has a 300 lb capacity and sits just a couple inches above your bed rails.

Both come with locks which ensure the towers are locked to your F-150, and both will give you the rack system you are looking for in your truck bed. The better option really just comes down to if you need the 500 lb capacity, or prefer the crossbars sitting higher or lower in your truck bed.
