Determining The Correct Coil SumoSprings For A 2014 Ford Expedition 2WD
Published 02/04/2022 >
Question:
I am very confused with the model numbers and what will fit my 2014 Ford Expedition 2 wheel drive, I want to install the coil sumosprings on the rear but I can’t find the part that will say it will fit. Some websites will show the CSS-1145 or the CSS-1168 can someone please help me? What’s the difference in the size of the coils between the 4 wheel drive vs the 2 wheel drive since it seems that all the models will fit the 4 wheel drive. Appreciate any help I can get. Thank you

Since we do not currently have a confirmed fit the easiest way to figure out which Coil SumoSprings will fit your 2014 Ford Expedition is to measure the gap between in the middle of the coil, pictured below. This will need to be done while the vehicle is on the ground with the full weight still placed on the axle. Once we have that measurement I can find the correct Coil SumoSpring for your application.
For example the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Front or Rear Axle # CSS-1145 that you referenced will fit a gap of 1-1/4", 1-5/16, or 1-3/8".
