How far apart are the holes in the Thule Bottom Mounting Clamp for the Ride on Adapter?

On the Thule replacement mounting clamp bottom piece, # 753-2854, it will fit around crossbars that are up to but not exceeding 3-3/4 inches wide. The holes are approximately 3-1/2 inches apart on center.
