what kind of trailer hitch do i need for a mobility scooter carrier on a 2015 C-MAX HYBRID. Total weight of scooter and battery is 151.5 lbs.

The highest rated trailer hitch available for a 2015 Ford C-Max is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12092 which can carry up to 350 lbs. That said, the trailer hitch and vehicle are tested separately of one another so you'll need to verify the capacity in the owner's manual and abide by the lower of the two components whether that be the hitch or vehicle.

Please note, there are only 1-1/4" options for this vehicle so your carrier will need to work with this size opening.
