Question:
I need a 50 female to 30 male generator adaptor cord.. I notice that you sell a yellow one a red one or a black one that all appear the same. Does the color of the adaptor indicate something? It would be used outside when the power goes out and need the generator. Can you explain the color thing and link me to a product? Thank you

Cord color really has no particular indication for a specific use. Most of the time the color is something specific to that manufacturer. Camco in particular uses mostly yellow on their adapters like Power Grip RV Power Cord Adapter # CAM55185.
Mighty Grip will offer some Red # A10-3050FHVP and Black # A10-3050FBK adapters. All these do the same as the Camco listed above just a different color for that brand.
Since you mentioned connecting to a generator I also recommend verifying the available outlets on the generator. I know many brands will have the RV style plugs but there are many that only have a twist lock connector. A Furrion RV Power Cord Adapter # FP52GEN4RSB for instance has a 4-prong twist style connector. And adapters like the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Generator Adapter # A10-G3030AVP will have a 3 prong twist connector. If you are unsure of what you need please let me know what generator you have and I will be able to check to see the connectors that it has.
