With this rack, it is important to note that it will only fit spare tires that measure between 8 to 10-1/2 inches wide. If you have the standard sizes of 245/75-17 or 255/70-18, this rack will work great if you are looking for a 3-bike option
If, by chance, you happen to have the size 285/70-17 or are looking for a 2-bike option, the only other spare-tire rack option that will fit this size is the Hollywood Racks SR1 2-Bike Carrier # HRSR1.
If you happen to have children's bikes, step-thru frames, or women's bikes, I recommend the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar # 64005 to give your bikes a straight, horizontal plane to attach to the racks' arms.
