Question:
Please confirm that this hitch will work with my station wagon please quote $ for attachment to allow this hitch to be used to tow a trailer. Please confirm that that attachment, which apparently comes with its own 2inch ball, will accept a 2 5/16th ball as well. Please estimate degree of difficulty for attaching the hitch will the folks at UHaul be capable of doing it?

Stealth Hitch confirms that their SHT25001 which we sell as part # SH44GR would be a fit for your 2017 Mercedes-Benz E400 wagon is the proper setup for towing.
The # SH37MR is the same hitch, but the receiver that's included with it isn't intended for towing. The # SH44GR includes the hitch, the receiver for hitch mounted accessories, the ball mount for towing with the 2 inch trailer ball and the hitch wiring.
The trailer ball is removable, and can be replaced with a 2-5/16 ball with a 1 inch shank like # 63847.
According to Stealth Hitch, a professional should be able to complete the install within 3 to 3-1/2 hours.
I couldn't speak to the skill of an individual installation facility, but I will link to the installation instructions that you can print out and show them.
