Im concerned about having this installed on a six speed manual renegade, 2017. Many shops will not install on a manual.

Unless the guys at the shops can't drive a stick you won't have any problems getting the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver item # EH83VR installed on your 2017 Jeep Renegade. That hitch receiver is a confirmed fit for all models of the 2017 Renegade. I have taken a look at the instructions and read through all of the tech tips we have for every hitch we offer for the Renegade and there is nothing about a manual transmission causing install issues. I went ahead and linked both the instructions and a video showing the installation being done on a Renegade.

If you scroll down the product page you will see a blue link below the pictures and videos that says, Locate installers near me. Click on that and enter your zip code and you will be able to find a shop capable of installing that hitch.

If you need a wiring harness I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118651. This is a plug in adapter that requires no cutting or splicing of your Jeep's wires. It will provide you with a 4-flat vehicle connector to control your trailer's lighting functions.
