Hitch Hits Exhaust with EcoHitch Trailer Hitch on 2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo

Question:

There isnt much information out, but I read two or three reports that on the Turbo version the muffler bangs on the 2inch EcoHitch if you hit a bump. Any experience?

I do show the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # EH55VR as a fit for a 2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo. It is the only 2" option available for this vehicle. I was not able to find any reference to an exhaust issue but the exhaust and hitch making contact can be sort of common with some vehicles. The fix in most cases is easy, simply bend the metal exhaust hanger slightly in a direction opposite of the hitch and you should be good. This won't cause any issues since you're only bending the hanger slightly. You can use any sort of pry tool you have available.
